We got it too. Only applying to NB, 4.25/4.33 GPA, 1540 SAT, 11 APs (all 5s of the ones taken). Unsure if everyone gets this as well?

Well it sounds like both of your kids definitely have high enough stats to get in, so maybe it is going to ones being considered? Iām gonna tell him to do the essay lol.

not so sure about that, my DD applied NB (not honors) and got into her ED last weeks so has already withdrawn her app to Rutgers but still got this email. i think itās just a form email that goes out to a lot of folks.

Last year, EA decisions were released January 24.

probably a stupid question butā¦ whats the difference between ā7th semester grades requestedā and a deferral? i just want a better understanding of why theyre separate decision statuses ;^^
Did you receive a status update from New Brunswick with a deferral asking for 7th semester grades?
I see a lot of you have gotten responses. My S25 hasnāt heard anything and he applied in August. Heās a 3.7 UW, 4.43 weighted, TO for Poli Sci. Hmm. Heās gotten into Miami University, PSU main Campus, Indiana Uni Bloomfield plus 11 other schools, but no Rutgers yet. Hmm Indeed! It would be funny if his state flagship rejected him. He doesnāt really care as he thinks the campus is way too big and heās heard bad things about the buses.
One thing that didnāt sit well with me is that he applied and then found out he was accepted to this really cool program with the NJ Devils that he wanted to add to his list of activities. It was like 2 weeks after he applied. Rutgers told him that he couldnāt add it. The only school out of the 27 that he applied to that didnāt allow him to. That was super dissapointing.
I donāt think any decisions for NB have come out. Only the other campuses.

Randomly checked portal and saw Admitted for NB and Newark! No email however. SO GO CHECK YOUR PORTALS!! got in for econ, international (1440 SAT)

Some of my sonās friends have been admitted to NB. He hasnāt heard yet though. So they are definitely releasing decisions!

Does anyone know when Rutgers will be releasing EA decisions?
It suppose to be on January 31 for New Brunswick, at it is Rolling admission for Camden and Newark.

The last 2 years, early decisions were released on Jan 24 and the 26th, so we are looking at about another 2 weeks

Probably by this month end. Nearly 2 months now with Newark Business school acceptance but no word from NB!
