Can someone help me figure out cost of attendance without merit. For OOS.

Varies between $57k-62k, without financial aid or merit scholarship. Read this page:

Appreciate the info. don’t know why, I thought it was
Slightly cheaper than temple. And temple gives the 20k provost versus Rutgers 10k dean, but I also get the impression the Rutgers honors far
Superior to Temple honors. I know there are nuances, But is this general take away?

S24 was accepted SAS and waitlisted RBS at NB. Is it difficult/competitive to transfer to RBS from SAS if the student has taken the prerequisite business courses and has met or exceeded the GPA/letter grade criteria? There is school to school transfer information on the Rutgers website that outlines the requirements but it doesn’t provide details on transfer acceptance rate for students who meet the criteria. Anyone have experience with this? TIA

Yes.

I got into honors but was not offered a scholarship. However, I am an in-state student. Should I expect a scholarship or is merit uncommon for in-state applicants?

If you got into honors college, that should come with merit.
Merit announcements come a few days later.

OK, I’ll be on the lookout for it. No mention of merit in the initial invitation

Honors College or Honors Program?

I didn’t realize there was a difference. I was invited to the SAS Honors Program

My kid received an honors college invitation for her 1st choice(Business) but nothing for 2nd(Pharmacy) and 3rd(Engineering). Will there be more emails next week?

$10,000+ for Honors College, but none for Honors Program

If they received an Honors College invite through their first choice, why would they also need an invite through their alternate choices?

Do you know if I can still live at the Honors College as a student in the Honors Program?

Also I thought this was interesting bc my NJ public school typically sends a lot of students to Rutgers but this is how this year’s acceptances compare to previous years… RU has definitely become much more competitive with its switch to the Common App

2019 - 26/46 → 57% accepted
2020 - 36/53 → 68% accepted
2021 - 26/56 → 46% accepted
2022 - 28/47 → 60% accepted
2023 - 40/59 → 68% accepted

~60% accepted/year before switch to Common App

2024 - 10/86 → 12% accepted
Seems like a very drastic change

Did you have to apply to honors college or honors program?

that is different than the honors college which is coupled with a certain amount of merit
