Rutgers University - New Brunswick offers Early Action for freshman admissions.

The Early Action (EA) deadline for Fall 2025 admission at Rutgers is November 1, 2024.

Admission decisions are announced in waves, but all early action applicants should receive an admissions decision by January 31, 2025.

DS is applying EA. Can’t seem to find anywhere online whether R-NB superscores ACT. Any input is appreciated. TY!

D25 portal says “Decision Made” but her applications status page says Under Review…anyone have that and what does that mean?

Does it say “Decision Made” with the lock grayed out? S25 has had the same for weeks now. I think it unlocks and is clickable when the decision is actually finalized.

No. It says decision made and it’s all in red like the rest of the steps above it. It was grayed out on friday and now it’s not.

I’m guessing maybe a decision has been made but they are giving until EA deadline to release since you may be able to change things still in your application?? I don’t know. Just wondered and wanted to see if anyone experienced same. I did see that Rutgers does give decisions as early as October so was curious.

I have never known Rutgers New Brunswick to release decisions that early. Mid November is the earliest I know of.

Ok. Just strange that the Decision Made step is red and checked off and not grayed out with a lock anymore like it was on Friday but status is Under Review. So maybe they are letting us know they’ve decided but not telling us yet? And she also got an email over the weekend saying that a status change is in the portal…

Interesting. Could be a glitch - or maybe they are in fact releasing decisions way earlier this year. Good luck, and let us know.

I saw a few people post on Facebook that their kids received Rutgers acceptances (either NB or other campuses). Anyone else? We have not heard yet, and S25 applied in August.

S25 applied to NB and Newark Business School on 10/5. Got acceptance to Newark Business School on 11/4. NB application still under review

Accepted to Camden yesterday, waiting to hear on New Brunswick.

Still crickets for my son, who applied to NB and Newark in August. His stats are certainly high enough for Newark, and in line for NB, so he’s getting worried. He did receive an email about free tickets for a Rutgers NB game so he could “picture himself as a student.” He said it felt like a bit of a tease.

Very few acceptances are sent out by NB in November. Most are sent out in December and early January. So it’s early and he shouldn’t worry.
