Sounds like you would like to get out of Ohio. We are from Ohio and my S would not even look at a school here. What do you want to major in? My opinion of some safeties in urban areas would be DePaul Un and Loyola Un in Chicago, Suffolk in Boston, Fordham Un in NY. Smaller college towns: Ithaca College, Indiana Un. (Bloomington).
i want to major in computer science, and yes, i don’t plan on going to school in Ohio
Fordham’s ACT mid range is 27-31. It is not a safety for someone with a 28. I think people are suggesting many schools that would be matches or even slight reaches.
If you like Boston and don’t mind being a bit outside the city, you might look at Stonehill College. If you’d like to be out in California, maybe Cal Lutheran or U of the Pacific.
