Based on a couple of posts, yes some rejections have been sent.
Someone at my daughter’s school got rejected through the portal 2 days ago. Unsure of stats, major, etc. though!
my daughters friend got rejected for nursing program.
don’t know any other details
I heard about some rejections on other sites, but not many. The denials last year were posted on March 20 last year and March 17 the year before. Usually waitlists will post first but it is not always the case.
I’m curious what wave we are on? I know the first was the same day as Cal Poly b/c my D’s friend got into both CP and SDSU that day. Has there been a second wave for SDSU?
If you count the early admit wave in December, there was a wave on March 11 and a smaller wave on March 13. Also a Nursing decision (small wave) March 5.
It seems like a sloooww wave - I counted about 22 people posted accepted (since Monday) but the page has over 47K views. It seems like ripples. What do you think? Wave or ripple
You have to remember that CC posters are not representative of all applicants and many applicants to do not post on any social media site at all. I am a lurker on Reddit and there are decent amount of admits on that site. Not sure how many are cross posts but you could call it a ripple. It is very hard gauge.
We still haven’t heard, so not sure if at this point we are just waiting for a rejection notification. I don’t understand why they don’t release them all at the same time.
I go to an in state high school right now and a lot of people from my graduating class have not heard back. I know a total of 4 people that have heard back and everyone else is still waiting. I feel like there should be more decisions to come out tomorrow but I am not sure.
i didn’t even realize sdsu hadn’t put out most of their decisions yet, i got my acceptance in december and it was a complete shock. i didn’t even know schools would give decisions that early if it wasn’t early action.
SDSU does not breakout stats by major only admit rates. The average admitted CSU GPA was mentioned at a CSU webinar which was 4.04. Average enrolled CSU GPA was 3.86.
They do have data for the average enrolled GPA by College here.
