Reminder that this is not a post for generic discussions on ROI. The OP specifically asked about Santa Clara. Please move further discussion to PM or a new thread.
Top Feeders to Tech in Silicon Valley, the bottom list is adjusted for undergraduate enrollment. I have no idea if they’re “worth the paper they’re printed on,” so buyers and sellers beware.
And Santa Clara made both lists (total & adjusted).
Here’s another list that SCU made, best feeder schools into top tech careers:

Again, I have not looked into the metrics, so please don’t shoot the messenger.
Thank you all for sharing. We are early in the process. In the mean time, we are simply collecting data so in April he can better assess all factors for each school. SCU is one of the first that have responded so as a parent, I am collecting ROI data which I think is an important factor although not the only factor. As some stated, ranking can be skewed. So, I wondered if the salary data could be skewed due to location and was trying to get some insight. SCU does seem to check many boxes for my kid. So I think as long as there are quality professors and that employers do consider SCU graduatess, it will remain as a good option for him in April. It is his job to stand out for employers as long as there are no negative bias against SCU. If so, then we could already eliminate some of the other schools not have checked as many boxes outside of ROI. I thank you for all the feedback and now we have some ideas. I didn’t have much choices when I went to school so I am kinda excited for him and that he works hard.
