<p>I’m a Sarah Lawrence grad who went on to a successful career in advertising. I believe that the core skills I learned at SLC were directly applicable and really helped me along the way. You learn how to do research, make a cogent argument, write well, finish complex projects on a deadline, etc. I did have to plug a few gaps in my general business skills after leaving school, but that was pretty easy to pick up. BTW, if you eventually do want to back to business school, SLC grads tend to do very well on b school acceptance. </p>
