@Ballerina016 My understanding has always being that engineers students have to be well-versed in science in general but Physics in particular, except those going to Chemical (Chem) and Biomedical (Bio/Chem).
I found this flowchart for CS at UCLA and it looks like the program requires a lot more Physics (3 classes + 2 labs) than Bio or Chem (1 Biochemistry). Judging for the curriculum, I would think that Physics would make for a stronger application.
