<p>Stanford will take your highest scores from either the ACT or the SAT. Since your ACT composite 33/34 is higher than your SAT score at 2120 your ACT scores will supersede the SAT scores…your test scores are within range…but, they will not determine your ultimate fate. Of the small handful of the top elite schools…Stanford tends to be the most “liberal” and holistic when looking at test scores…</p>
<p>…because, in the end, Stanford is NOT looking for test taking drones or GPA gunners (there are plenty of other schools that do this)…rather, they are looking for as many diamond-in-the-rough type students as well as the most interesting/successful students…</p>
<p>…they are looking for students who can and will thrive within and outside of the Stanford community…</p>
