<p>SAT grades the essays kinda weird if I remember correctly. I can’t remember what exactly gives you better scores, but as just about everything with some of these tests, there are things you can do to up your score - length of sentence, transitions, verbiage. While I like the ACT better for a host of reasons, son did pretty much exactly the same on the essays on both test.</p>
