<p>A 760 with an essay subscore of an 8… wierd. The 760 alone will look impressive to Middlebury, so I don’t think getting the 8 will have any effect (positive or negative) on your application. At this point, I wouldn’t bother retaking. Relax over your winter break and tackle any supplements that might be remaining.</p>
