r u serious???

hollyyy crap…dude…i dunn think im gonna cancel it…but sh-I-TTT…:(

13 skipped, 2 wrong (i think). what’s my most optimistic score and as a senior applying to the UCs (apps due nov. 30th), can i still take the test again in december and report my scores then?

apsara…i think we’re on the same boat!

yeah, and i think it’s sinking! lol.

lol…haha…nope…we’re gonna survive!!! dont u lose hope!..:)

hey, what i said was a total guess… there are peopel on the board who know how to do the raw score math…

sooo…is december too late to take it again and still apply to UC? anybody know? sorry, i’m panicking over here…

i think we’re ALL in the same boat!!! The test really was a lot harder than any Ic tests i’ve ever seen. Does anyone remember what they put for the last one about the two points on a plane and the number of isoceles triangles they could form? I put E (an infinite number). Also, for the question X=Y-15 and 3X+2Y=something (i don’t remember), I got 35 for X+Y- What about you all??

Good luck to everyone with this awful test!

for the latter question i got the same…the other i dont know…mayb i didnt answer it at all…was confused over that!

Good to know!! I figured it out after the proctor called time, so I didn’t have time to really think about it - i just bubbled.

i remember on the simultaneous question i got 6a for one of them… did anyone get this?

yeah…see im sure abt the questions i did…except for like 2…! but i left 15!!! daMN!

what did everyone put for the thing that would screw up the domain of the equation…?

i put ONLY 3. because the denominator was x-3 and x-3=0 is really x=3…

ummm

also there was a question that was like x^2 = 9 and some other equation… the only values in common were three. anyone else get that?

OH FLIP…

Okay. I am supposed to be GOOD at Math IC math. This test was hecka hard for me. It was so…esoteric? Anyway…I’m bummed.

“old people and television question”

In the graph study, there were 400 people studied, fifteen of which were old (was it 65+ people?) who watched a certain television show. The question was, “If you did the same study on only 100 people, roughly how many 65+ year old people would have watched? Round to the nearest whole number.” Thus, the answer was 4.

“vertex of that paralleogram congruent to the other parallelogram”
I believe the answer was -2,5.

What did everyone put for the one that looked like a bow tie and had two paralell lines? I said that the triangles were similar. Me too.

What did everyone put for the first one that said what can x NOT be? I put -3. I’m not sure, but I think I put -3 as well.

What did everyone put for the last one? I was thinking infinitely many, but I didn’t answer that one. I think I put infinitely many…but I don’t remember.

What did everyone put for the question that said how many times is the volume of the rectangle larger than the volume of the right cylinder. I put 4. There wasn’t 4 as an answer. There was 2, 1.27, .8, and I think .5.

What did everyone put for the perpendicular bisector question? I just did not understand that. I put when x=0. Me too.

i left 15 blank in math 2c. should i cancel?

Crud, HTML tags don’t work on here…

“vertex of that paralleogram congruent to the other parallelogram”
I believe the answer was -2,5.

– no it wasn’t 5 because it went below the x axis one point.

What did everyone put for the question that said how many times is the volume of the rectangle larger than the volume of the right cylinder. I put 4. There wasn’t 4 as an answer. There was 2, 1.27, .8, and I think .5.

4 was the first answer choice and it was correct.

See what this test is doing to me?

I think I got that question wrong now…

what did everyone put for #48 … it was a graph of a horizontal parabola … i knew it wasnt A or B because x was squared… but i ran out of time… so i just saw (x - 2) = y2 something and the others had (y + 2) so i picked the one in the middle… i think it was C … not sure… I believe i put the same too…the reason being if its like that the graph shifts up or it was (x+2) = 2(y-2 )…blah blah blah…i got most of the same answers for u guys except for the senior citizen one that was the one where i was confused as hell…what did u get for the if f(x) = 4x-1.or something then f(gx) = 8x-2 ? or something…whats g(x)?
