<p>Is there anyone who got -0 on CR that would like to clear something up?</p>

<p>Um I got -1…</p>
<p>Awe, voluptuous, private stranger, quackery…forestall, qualify, trade, don’t know what you mean about self-effacing, and positive medium. I think that last one is the one I missed.</p>
<p>I got -4. Which is a 750. Harsh curve, I think. One I missed was ruminate, the others I’m not sure about. I’m happy though, 750 on my first try without studying(:</p>
<p>@EliKresses. Dude, the CR curve is amazing compared to the math curve. missing ONE question = 760.</p>

<p>jimmypod - i think they removed that question from the scoring. i just received my test booklet with the answers. in the photography passage, it says “item #24 not included for scoring,” and I don’t remember it being #24, but that question does not appear anywhere else.i think they must have decided it was really arguable to either side.</p>
<p>on a side note - just realized I made a ridiculously stupid bubbling error. would have gotten a 2400 if it was not for that error. 2 wrong is minus 2 raw points, but 3 wrong is minus 4 raw points, which is the difference between an 800 and a 760. I know my score is GREAT, but I still am ticked off at myself for that foolishness. oh well.</p>
<p>anyone know what the exact reading curve was… i got -3 and 760. I especially want to know what -2 was because usually its 800</p>

<p>I just got my copy of the January 2012 SAT- finally. The Math scale was really harsh: -1 = 760; -2 = 740 and -3 = 710 (because of the guessing penalty). Writing scale was also harsh: -1 = 780; -2 = 750 and -3 = 700 because of the guessing penalty. March scores are out in just one week. Think I did well but getting a little nervous.</p>

I’m soooo curious, because I’ve just had my final SAT practice test last week (at a SAT review class), and when at home I tried to look it up on the internet, i found your discussions about Jan 2012 real test. It was surprisingly exact!!!
