The first one is correct. A semicolon links two complete ideas. “of which many are found nowhere else in the world” can’t stand on its own.

My thesis was that advancement often leads to new problems; however, these challenges just make the victory sweeter. I realize it’s a seemingly small difference, but it changed the way I wrote the essay. I argued that the crm led to its own problems like violence but that just made the final achievement better; similar arg for Montag.

^^yes because not only is it not a complete sentence, it lacks a subject because prepositional phrases cannot serve as subjects.

I still never got my question answered about someone winning something.

I put down: blah blah, for winning an award
the other choices were something like
then caused to her to win
causing her winning

anyone?

I put then she won an award due to her work xD or I used answer A which was the original, forget which one exactly

Guys, answer my question. I’m going out now. You guys should stop obsessing lol.

I think that was wrong though Arctk3 because it made a comma splice; can anyone confirm this?

wasn’t there an answer choice that didn’t have comma splices? xD

I agree that the first one is correct.

@ juggler

shoot… i just talked about how setbacks were involved with progress

like how Russian instability paved way for Lenin to incorporate economic stability which IMPROVED lives of the ppl

and I talked about how Pip in Great Expectations faced a moral crisis after getting rich which enabled him to adapt and IMPROVE his identity for the future…

do you think thats off topic?
I filled up EXACTLY 2 pgs to the last line. Do you think I will get below a 10 for off topic?
Should I cancel the score?

how many no errors did everyone get?
i got 5.

Dear Swedish:
it seems that ur essay has gotten quite off topic.
But don’t cancel it if u did well on the other two sections, as colleges only look at section scores now

I think 5 no errors is the consensus.

Not to be confused with the CR answer not a general consensus. LAWL.

Can people look at my above comment and post their opinion?

I’m literally bawling as of now… I dont know what to do…

I did super on the writing MC and above a 720 on the math… but i did bad on CR and apparently screwed up my essay…

Please read my above post about the essay and give your opinion

as I said, if this is ur third SAT or something, I suggest canceling it.

this is my 2nd sat, i took my first one in november

first one i got a 2170

Does anyone remember the greek name question on the improving paragraphs?

I eliminated it.

yeah you were supposed to delete it

I interpreted the essay the same as you(swedishm8) and so did everyone else at my testing center.

Greek One = delete it… I remember that I either chose, or considered deleting in another answer
