SAT Literature May 2013 International Discussion

Hi Guys,

I just took the SAT literature. How did you guys do? Please post answers and if someone could tell me where the passages/poems were from, it would be great!

Thanks!

[Studying English Literature: Analysis of Sir Philip Sidney?s Loving in Truth (Sonnet No. 1 from Astrophil and Stella)](Analysis of Sir Philip Sidney’s Loving in Truth (Sonnet No. 1 from Astrophil and Stella))

[Still Citizen Sparrow by Richard Wilbur |](http://neoenglish.■■■■■■■■■■■■■/2010/12/02/still-citizen-sparrow-by-richard-wilbur/)

I ran out of the time and rushed through the citizen sparrow one… definitely did not pick up on some of the ideas. How many can you get wrong to still get 750+???

Can we go over some of the questions?

That was one of the most difficult lit tests ove ever seen. then again, I’ve only seen the practice test cb gives. Thinnest was a lit harder than cb s practice test. I skipped 7 questions because that last passage was crazy difficult

I also thought that was really hard. I’ve taken the official released ones and a few kaplan and a Barron’s and this was definitely top 2 hardest.

Did you guys put parallel examples that emphasize a point on that last one?

Also, some other passages:

[Love Scenes and Scenes of Seduction: Adam Bede](http://ncsmodules.unl.edu/loveandseduction/content.php?id=ls.00069)

scores are out! how did all you guys do? :)

770… I’m interested to hear how other people did.

740… I kind of winged it, so I guess its what I deserve, but I wish it was a 750 to get it over the hump haha
