For the marbles problem, I got A

WHATS the area 40 problem? was the grid multiple choice? easy or hard. I CANT REMEMBER

hey guys for number 16 i got a because it says the distance from the point to three is twice the distance than the distance for the point to zero. did i misread the question?

sorry, the consensus (check page 2 for proof) has been A.

lol chill. Your definition of acing is different from mine and of course 800 is deffinately an ace but I mean 2 or 3 doesnt mean you failed. I usually miss 2 to three but this time I did worse on the first section ruining my score.

@Stonesn
It was a grid in. There was a rectangle with dimensions 5x10 and a triangle inside with legs 4 and 5. It was asking for the area if you remove the triangle.
50-4*5/2=40

what is the answer for the number under 1000?
it was a sequence like 3,6,9…

Some one said it was 333 but I thought it was 303?

333; multiples of 3 less than 1,000. (999-3)/3 +1 = 332+1 = 333

@domokon
the sequence is
3,6,9,12…993,996,999
Divide all terms by 3
1,2,3…331,332,333
Thus the # of terms is 333.
What was your reasoning for 303?

guys can anyone prove number 16 on the 20min section? cause i thought it was a and people are saying c

well dang, looks like i just looked over the question too quickly and got it wrong. So im going to assume i got only -2 after hearing the answers to all these other questions i was concerned about. I mean the math section was easy aside from the nutrition and the marbles and the p distance one, but it seems like a whole lotta people are missing those. Yall thing a -2 would be higher than a 730?

It was A, C doesn’t even work for -3

A point P on the number line and has the coordinate X. The distance from the coordinate 3 to the point P is twice longer than that from the coordinate 0 and the point P; X could be 1 or -3. If X = 1, the choice A and choice C?D?may work but if X = -3, only the choice A works. Hence, to MUST BE TRUE, choice A is the answer #16

ok good bro. i still have an 800 then :))))

@Golfingtee7
-2 Would be ~750

@PencilxBoxes Unfortunately, apparently they are separate. Don’t beat yourself up. I thought they were separate. I really hope the collegeboard throws it out. You should email them!

I have an 800 as well so far too. From that alone would give me a 2340 superscore :slight_smile: but I bet I was stupid on an easy problem, just watch.

@bob Im just praying now that i didnt make any other dumb mistakes or i will be furious

@rd2012

The distance from point x to 3 is twice the distance from x to 0. Which of the following much be true.

I kind of knew from the start that the only numbers that fit x are -3 and 1.

The answer was |x-3|= 2|x|
substitute 1 or -3
|1-3|= 2(1)
2=2
2

Choice A : abs(X-3) = 2abs(X)
Choice C?D? : abs(2X-3) = abs(X)
