“It was to explain the personality. She is portrayed as a oddball the entire time, but she loves her job. Satire is criticism. She was not criticizing archeology (I didn’t think). What did you all put for the photographer one?”

I agree here…and again it is sardonic, without a doubt.

Russian authors was NOT experimental. Conformity was.

GanDhIizRiPpiN- I said he was flustered about the situation, not that he didn’t like older people

russian authors was not experimental, I dont think. the conformity one was

what did you guys say abt the first archaeological q (scavenger)
i chose soemthing liek she saw archaeology in disdain?

at tilg

but the photographer was barely mentioned, only for like 1 paragraph. it was the different scenario, i am really sure, like 100%.

can someone else on c.c. help out my or tilgs argument?

did anyone else get the venice one? i had CR experimental, but did not get the conformity passage

also, the photographer didn’t know how to handle the situation…and i still think that that the author was shamelessly conceited, and not mildly ridiculing himself…

bobdy - u mean the celeb one?

Skyhigh, what was the question for the answer dismay?

HAha I found the book the archaeologist passage came from:

http://www.amazon.com/Falling-Woman-Pat-Murphy/dp/0312854064

anyone want to read it? lolz

skyhigh, conceited and mildly ridiculous are two potential answers for the same question, i think.

for the photographer, i put new experience. the photographer was not used to dealing with the roughness of the archaelogists’ work (i think).

What were the possible answer choices to the horn tooting question?
Also, was the Russian passage experimental?

what did you guys say abt the first archaeological q (scavenger)
i chose soemthing liek she saw archaeology in disdain?

Meh, -2/3 is better for me than my last CR (-6 :frowning: ).

I walked away from this one feeling much better overall.

@ ari

I am arguing for ur side. I agree he was flustered about the situation.lol.

I don’t think it was disdain, something like an account of the narrator’s personality?

buzzardsbay: dismay: what would “the authors” in passage two think about the notions in passage one, celebrity one.

What was the experimental???

lol this is the last time im asking this-- why is the answer dismay instead of uncertainty?

It was account of personality and dismay. I felt certain about those two.
