First (Dec 2009): 1900 => 510 CR , 710 Math , 680 Writing

Second (Jan 2010): 2100 => 650 CR , 710 Math , 740 Writing

+140 CR: I didn’t have a panic attack in these sections as I did in Dec 2009. I used the strategy of reading the little blurb, reading the questions, marking off the passages and focusing on the marked-off sections as I read. It wasn’t that I sucked at reading and comprehending, I just had a poor vocabulary and I was short on time in these sections. I managed to improve my vocab using DH and I just practiced a lot in CR.

+0 Math: I was confident for this so I didn’t put in anything new.

+60 Writing: wrote a killer essay (using two plugged-in examples and filling up the two pages) which improved my score from an 8 to an 11. My sub-score went from 70 to 71.

After the fiasco in Dec. 2009, I lived and breathed CR lol. I guess it paid off. I’m an international student and I got three impressive acceptances:
- 20k a year
- full ride
- 48k a year (I pay 6k)

I am happy. I chose the third college!
