Sat Snacks

I meant why specifically Hershey’s as opposed to any (higher-quality, less craptastic) chocolate. I grew up in Brussels; chocolate snobbery sort of comes with the territory. :p

(I’m not actually judging anyone’s taste in chocolate–it’s all in good fun–but I did find it an amusing line of thought that any particular brand of chocolate would be more conducive to high SAT scores. Maybe someone could design a study? :D)

Best meal I’ve been told is a bacon egg and cheese biscuit because it burns off energy at different time intervals through the test up till about the last break. Also throw in a bananna since potassium helps. Also, chewing sugar free gum helps with focusing on your test rather then what is going on around you and has been proven in studies to increase test scores. For the first break, I’d get something light. I remember last time I had some peanut butter cracker things. Then for the last break, I had a bit of sugar with a coke and a couple of candies to help with the final portions of the test. Don’t want to overdo it though =P

oh, and I remember someone mentioning in class today that mint helps with memory. So maybe you want a peppermint candy or just use some kind of mint gum.

woohoo thanks guys! I’m practically going to be bringing like a whole picnic basket to the test ahaha.

I’ve heard that about peppermint’s too, Dal. Not sure if its true, but I have em anyway during midterms/finals…even if its nothing more than a superstition.

adderol pills and plenty of water because they make you thirsty

Ok my final snacks list:

 • turkey sandwhich
 • Dark Chocolate, since it has that supposed effect of making people feel happy (EXACTLY WHAT I NEED DURING THE TEST!), and whatever candy I find laying around my house
 • Banana or whatever fruit I find
 • Water and Iced Tea

Yeah…erm, do you know how many breaks we get and specifically how much time each one is? Thankss

yea, how many breaks do we get?

I like Naked juice, specifically the Orange Mango Motion. It’s a natural energy boost, but it doesn’t have any of the bad effects of drinking coffee or taking caffeine pills.

Are we supposed to bring all this in a back pack or what? How does this work?

Personally I prefer crack

I hadn’t heard it before then, but I believed it because she is pretty into the whole med thing.

Also, we get two breaks during the test.

hmm i get untimed so i better be able to eat my lunch at my test at school monday + tuesday my proctors usually my resource room teacher so its all good i drink cans of lemonade practically everyday in that class…ones i get from the lunchroom i get i mean were not technically aloud it but i will eat it
