If I omitted two problems, how many can I get wrong to ensure an 800?
I’m thinking maybe around 3 problems?

Was -a^2 an answer for something?

Oh and for the y-intercept in the parametric equations question, did you guys get -1/3?

For the circles, I think it was (x+1)^2 + (y-2)^2 = 4 (Centre was (-1, 2)).

FOr the 2x, 2y thing I just doubled the original distance

For parametric…I got -1/2
dang it. But i just graphed it and estimated and I don’t remember seeing -1/3 as an answer… crap.

I got that same answer for the circle though

Oh good, because someone said that the answer was E and I’m pretty sure this choice wasn’t E.

For the circles one, I mean

tetrisfan-For the circles, I think it was (x+1)^2 + (y-2)^2 = 4 (Centre was (-1, 2)).

Yeah i did the same thing. I’m pretty sure that was choice E.

I got the same thing but I’m pretty sure I didn’t get E either!
(for the circle one)
whatever. well I omitted 6 and as of now have gotten 1 wrong.
I’m pretty positive I won’t get a 800 but how many do you think I could get wrong (besides the 6 that I omitted) to get a 780ish?

Thanks

6 omits + 2-3 wrong=780

2 Omits + 3/4 wrong is?

2 OMITS and 3/4 WRONG is an 800 I believe.

Personally, I think I got something like a 750, which makes me feel super smart ^_^

Any takers for the -a^2?

It was choice E whatever that one was

tetrisfan, i got (-a)^2. i graphed all 5 equations, and this was the only one that didn’t match up with the others.

Yeah I think that was E too!
DoleWhip, are you sure? Because if I remember right, all the other answers came out to be a^2 finally

i thought most of the answers came out to be -a^2, and (-a)^2 was the only one that didn’t match up. does anyone else remember another choice?

I never remember the letter of the answer.

But I know that all of them came out to be negative except for (-a)^2 like DoleWhip said. I don’t know if it was E or not but I know that the answer was like (-a)^2

The answer was E AND DoleWhip is right. All the answers came to -a^2 while E was (-a)^2 and therefore a^2.

i remember getting that too.
