If you have taken trigonometry and precalculus math, choose math level 2. Math level 1 is for those who have not yet completed trigonometry and precalculus math (most high school seniors in the US are currently enrolled in it, but many of those aiming for highly selective schools have completed it the previous year).
Check each university to find out what subject tests it wants to see.
