In 2006, cb had scantron scoring errors for the tests that were scanned at the Texas facility, I believe. Thus if cb takes all of the tests and sends a random clump to the texas facility, there may have been a scantron misreading error b ack in 2006. The error does not affect everyone. Thus, if you think that u missed 3 but the machine says that you missed 20, it might be a cb error. If u missed or omitted 7 questions but scored in the 600s (totally random example, I have no idea what the curves are), then this is due to the curve being harsh, which is not a cb error, because it is based on data collected from those specific questions given to other students in the past. Similarly, low essay grades may be due to a “computer error” if the computer is the one that is “reading and scoring the essay.”
