Sat

well i didn’t really study at all for the SAT the first time.
took half practice test.
first time 1430. (690v, 740m) mostly careless errors.

second time, i did 3 pratice tests… (that’s more studying than i’ve ever done before)
750v, 800m

studying is boring. when i try to force myself to study, i end up taking a nap.

way back when, choco, NO ONE got 1500s or even 1400s. it was scaled differently, so a 1310 would have been an amazing score.
doesnt say anything for what they take now.

i took the SAT I last fall and got 1410. same thing with redbarn, i had some test anxiety. took a class with an awesome instructor who had worked for both Kaplan and Princeton Review, bumped it up to 1530 (oddly enough, these were the EXACT SAME pre and post class scores for the 2 other kids in the session… freaky)
three people in my HS class of 60 got perfect scores. at least a dozen got mid 1500s.

as always, im on the upper end of average :-/

i think it would best to at least dignify him with a name:
Ken Jennings. please use it.

yea same i took like 7 practice tests and a kaplan course be4 the real thing… ended up w a 1570

13-whatever then is not equal to the same score now.
it was definitely an ivy leaguer’s score. nowadays, it might hurt you.

ken jennings is the man

I wonder if anyone will ever challenge his record…

He just beat the old record a few weeks ago i think.

I mean the record for consecutive shows won…

didnt study at all, but then again im really lazy in general when it comes to school, so…

I took a class, but it was about 3 months before the SAT i took so i dont know if it helped that much. I didnt study that much but i got a 1520 somehow. My SATIIs arent as hot, they average out about 740 . . . oh well
