How many do we need? It seems as if the website is contradicting itself from 3 vs 0.
I’m applying for Computer Science in the SChool of Viterbi.

From form #4 instructions-
http://www.usc.edu/admission/undergraduate/private/1011/Form4_2010.pdf

On the website under “Admissions Standards”-
[Freshman Standards - USC Undergraduate Admission](http://www.usc.edu/admission/undergraduate/apply/fresh_standards.html)

(Couldn’t find the contradiction you referred to- please link if you can find it- thx.)

Good luck!

Son is a junior with a computer engineering major in Viterbi and he only submitted the ACT with no SAT2 subject tests.

Wait a minute- you must have edited your post while I was giving you an answer- I thought you were asking about recommendations!

Oh well.

Hi Drizzit can I ask you how is your son liking it? DS is also applying - same major. Sort of high match situation. Is it very hard to get in?

Son really is enjoying USC. He is involved in the robotics program this year and is hoping to spend this coming summer in LA and doing the robotics.

I am not sure how to say if it is difficult or not. He was accepted in the first wave and early. It was not a hard choice for him. We are form Montana so that may have helped a bit but he had a 32 ACT and 3.97 GPA. He had also competed in first robotics in high school.

Best of luck it seems like a great fit for my son.

DS did first Robotics too. His GPA is avg but he has perfect SAT2 scores in Math and Physics.
