It must be extremely difficult to know everything about everything, and to feel the need to educate others about how much you think you know. The danger of that is once one knows everything , he can learn nothing else. Just think how empty that head was at the beginning , and how cluttered it is now.

You shut off the water to our street for an anticipated four hours (let’s hope that’s all it is) and gave no advance notice?? I realize this is a first world problem, but if we’d known ahead of time we could have at least filled some buckets with water so we could flush. Grrr!

I can’t take much more of this. First mom in nursing home, hospice and passing away. Then FIL in nursing care with mesothelioma, slowly dying. Now dad falling and in hospital/surgery. This is when being an only child married to an only child is definitely not a good thing.

I am so disappointed that my plans for next a few years need a complete overhaul due to something that I cannot control…we spent money and time only to find out we can’t get it. I guess I should stay positive since lots of people can’t even have a chance to get it but I still have to face many hurdles in front of me.

Dear friend who is soon to be visiting…
do not make your “I do not eat sugar” the focus of out time together.
You “do not eat sugar, do not drink alcohol, and go to bed early”.
You also do not do pedicures, shop other than flea markets, or widow shop in malls or downtown.
We love to hike and canoe but while that is ok with you it is a short hike and you “do not wear bathing suits”.
Every other year we have fun and then the next year not…
