I recognize his brilliance, but I’ve never been able to develop a taste for Bruce Springsteen.
I am incredulous that you are using this moment to further your personal agenda; but then again, maybe I’m not.
…
Nothing brings me to instant tears like re-hashing 9/11.
Really sad to realize that so many current HS freshman have not lived in a time “before 9/11”. So much changed that day. I still remember people being concerned about telling me those tragedies had occurred at all. They were afraid the news would put me in to labor.
It hurts to think outside the box. Ignore solves the dilemma.
CNN: You sure can take a news item and stretch it into multi-hour “breaking news”.
Big Brother is Watching You
You don’t have to yell. Your phone has a serviceable microphone and whoever you’re talking to can hear you just fine.
Lucky…when the transmission dies while merging on a highway and you get safely to the breakdown lane on a glide past an entrance ramp, with the state trooper arriving just as an AAA recording informs you of the high call volume. He then sits behind the car with flashers on until the tow truck driver takes you home after dropping car off at service center. Grateful.
Dear college part-time “professor” - how ridiculous of you to assume that all college sophomores have a car at their disposal to complete observation hours in a town that does not have public transportation! If you cannot offer any assistance to students that don’t have transportation, then “own transportation a must” needs to be in the class description!!! UGH!!! So angry!
^^Part - two. Dear health care professionals - please have the courtesy to at least respond to a student who reaches out to you by phone and/or email requesting information about opportunities to observe/shadow you on the job. 5 requests, not one single response. Just awful!!
To large (expensive) car manufacturer: Glad you finally let us rent a car at your expense. Telling us the car has a passenger side airbag recall, that there is no fix in sight (no airbags available) and that your solution is to tell us, driving a convertible with no real usable back seat, not to put someone in the passenger side seat is beyond ridiculous!
I know this is completely minor, but there has been a single housefly in my kitchen for the last three or four days driving me INSANE!!
OMG.
Uverse, this is the THIRD time I’ve cancelled you. This is the THIRD time the cancellation has been cancelled from your end without any notification to me that that happened.
This is why I’m cancelling you in the first place! GAH
Hoping for some pretty major improvements in my life today and to hear
you compliment me!
Just when you think it’s safe again. Darn you cancer! We can only hope this biopsy comes back as non cancerous. Otherwise, why does this always happen when I already have a busy schedule? I know I’m being selfish but this could have happened during the summer when my work schedule was light, I was not in class, and my brother was not going to move. Now of course, I’m in class, travelling for work and my brother may have a section 8 apartment he will need to move into. The only good thing is that I can possibly do is take leave in conjunction with my work travel, so that saves me $$ for an airplane ticket. cancer sucks.
Hopefully the next couple of days will have several irons in the fire finish out. Wow what a week I have had.
Who made you queen of the patio? The feeder is for everybody, so stop swooping in to chase off all the other hummingbirds!
I guess I misinterpreted what you said. You meant that to be a compliment, not a diss. Glad I thought it over.
