i am so thankful that there are no politics on CC boards. The bickering on tv is ridiculous and and i cant stand to listen to it. glad to come here and - and that’s all left behind.

I visit your inlaws every week because FIL is in hospice and I am 30 miles away vs your 2000. Please don’t complain to me that MIL is demented and controlling. Her husband is dying and she’s doing the best she can under the circumstances. If there was a true issue, I would let you know immediately.
Keep telling myself that you can’t believe everything you read on the internet. Over and over again 
It is so difficult to be thousands of miles away when your adult child is hurting. I know that I have to give him time to deal with the disappointment. During our last good phone conversation, he said that he would try to call more but he admitted that he avoids calling when he feels bad. In the past, he has called to cry on my shoulder so I am going to be optimistic. Maybe he isn’t really feeling that bad about the low attendance. I just hate when he sends me cryptic texts with no follow-up for days. And his friend promised to post pictures of the event. Did she forget or was it so bad that they didn’t take pictures? Patience. He will eventually get a job. He is too smart and hardworking to remain unemployed for long.
OK dog, I know you were upset that we left for 2 weeks but did you have to leave 6 or 7 editorial comments on our bedroom floor when D1 brought you to the house? I hope the sticky, nasty feel on the floor is just Windex residue.
