I know I am poor and my family has gradually been getting better(with my mom working at Macy and my sister getting jobs soon and my father restarting business in Korea with good pace) but when I see my roommates, whose parents are supposed to do better than my family,spend 120$ grocery weekly in DEBT, I wonder if my family is still doing better than many American families, or just my roommates have zero sense of financial strategy.
It’s good to be blessed with financially savvy parents, unlike my roommate’s incompetent father who couldn’t pay rent even with 1 month notice advance.
