Say it here cause you can't say it directly- the get it off your chest thread (Part 1)

I usually love college football but it is totally annoying me today!

Hm, I didn’t realize reading electrochemistry articles can be this fun! Lots of jargons tho…

Dear Mr. Harbaugh: These past two games were way too close for too long. I’m losing confidence for the bigger games. I miss Bo.

Dear Mr. Monken: I’m so sorry. Your boys didn’t have a prayer today, but I was hoping.

DD wrote an application essay on self-segregating behaviors…it doesn’t seem so altruistic as much as purposefully exclusionary/elitist. I haven’t said anything about it directly because I know it is important to y’all and I want to be/am trying to be a team player, but that is the way it feels. Perception and perspective.

Thanks alot for the support (sarcasm). Because it isn’t hard enough to diet and forego cocktails with the group, I really needed the banter about how I’m no fun. Maybe instead of giving me a hard time you could join me in my twice weekly walks or yoga class. I really believe I’m the one who will be smiling in the mirror next summer while you both are still sedentary and otherwise unhealthy. With friends like these, who needs enemies.

And I can just see him playing that meme over and over again snickering like an 8 year old boy.

Looks like someone is going to be late for the flight because said someone wanted another cup of coffee…

Dear media folks, the island is St. John, not St. Johns. No S.

I feel guilty saying this because it’s such a petty problem. But here it is:

I love you and I’m happy you have a job that you like. And yes it is very convenient to have you working from home. But please PLEASE find some activities that take you out of the house. Is it so terrible for me to want the house to myself sometimes? I need to putter and it’s so much easier when the house is quiet and I can breathe.

PS. Do you really need to watch the TV every minute you’re not working?

My beautiful fluffy friend, my alternate husband, my annoying and idiotic barker, I am just so sad without you. What happened to make you so sick, so fast? You were only 10 years old and you loved hiking with us just last month, and running around just a few days ago… I am so lost without you here in the house with me.

Uffff… faaaa… (Italian expression releasing breath in frustration without hand expressions that might be Crude) I’m exhausted from trying to help a college applicant and defending their right to try something on their application that might not be recorded in a “symphonic and musically perfect rendition”. I say try something unexpected. Or don’t. It’s all up to the future college student. But, gosh darn it don’t , couple of posters, just say don’t. This really irks me. I am using G rated language.

Interesting invite. If you really wanted us to attend, it would be held on a weekend. Too bad I’m working.

Dear Mr. Kitty, I don’t know how much a reasonable amount to spend to keep you healthy is. Husband said $500, but promptly paid that much and more. Now we are headed to the cat cardiologist, where 1 appt. blows husband’s proposed budget. Good thing you’re his favorite cat. You’re a good kitty. I hope it’s an easy fix to get you healthy again.

Why can’t my daughter (20 years old, not in school) learn to sleep at night not sleep 12 hours during the day, party til 2 or 3 am and then wonder why she can’t sleep! She just woke up at 6pm and has to work a double tomorrow starting at 7am. Basically she will be up 24 hours or won’t wake up for work (it is her first day back on a 90 day trial after quitting two months ago because of an issue with a guy and a severe depression attack - that really hasn’t left yet and she won’t get help). GRRRRR!

Please give her a chance. You won’t regret it.

Disaster averted. Pax checked in for his flight with room to spare - a whopping 2 minutes before the check in closed. Argh.

When there are several empty stalls in the restroom, please don’t use the handicapped one and make the person who is currently disabled have to wait. This happened twice on this trip. Almost 3 times. Oh and to the people waiting in your cars to pick up up someone - please pull your cars forward so you aren’t blocking the handicap access curb. Oh, and to the last person who almost waltzed into the handicapped stall when there were several others to choose from: I did rather enjoy delicately saying “excuse me- do you mind not using the handicapped stall?” Too bad you didn’t even apologize. Woulda been nice.

Why did your build your house so close to the property line leaving nearly an acre of frontage and then put all your crap behind your garage for me to look at from my back deck where we do all our socializing? Hope you are enjoying your view, you ruined mine. After 35 years of only wooded acreage and all that offers (deer and other wildlife) I now get to look at your old boats, old metal recyclables, dog houses and everything else you don’t want to look at. Please invest in a fence. And you wonder why I haven’t come by to introduce myself?

get a grip - she will be fine - don;'t worry so much
