I had the same dental hygienist for 20 years or more. Our kids were roughly the same age and we enjoyed our twice-yearly meetings. She and her DH abruptly moved away. Now I have to start over with someone new and I don’t like it. Phooey

Yippee, I was able to make a MD appointment with my out-of-state MD for May 2018, as I wanted, even though when I asked as I left they said they didn’t have his calendar until Feb or March! It’s helpful so we can plan our calendar, as we will see him and then go to a medical conference that he will also be attending.
I’m so happy that the weather has turned slightly cooler and I can finally break out the flannel sheets. Ahhhh.
DH took 14 year old son to the dermatologist today for what I thought was a simple rash. The doctor thinks son may have a rare and horribly debilitating disease.
I don’t think I can take much more.

Everybody is closing in on me (and H) with their problems - families, co-workers - no joy to be found anywhere. Want to just create a bubble for us to hide in. Holidays are going to be a mess this year.
How many times did I ask you to leave the heat on at the cabin? I run down there yesterday and the furnace was off and the inside temperature was 47. If I had waited a another 10 days I would have been dealing with frozen pipes.
Why does the battery on the smoke detector always start chirping at 3 AM? Don’t batteries ever die during the day time?!
