you are making it very difficult for me to love you. Clearly you treat your studying-abroad citizens like dirt. You don’t let us make your crappy identification code, and you don’t let us apply to Fulbright scholarship because I am already in US undergraduate? Other countries don’t have that kind of limitation.

This afternoon it was a clean mamo and sonogram.

TV and internet have been down for 2 hours so far after the storm. Actually had a conversation with DH!
Do you think the job is beneath you? What are you going to do all day, because my pay check can’t cover all the bills, and cable and WiFi are luxuries. Not like I have time to watch them while working two jobs.
Why does the only course that you need offered this summer stuff an entire semester into only two weeks? I told you it would be difficult, but you assured me you could handle it. Only half a week to go and I’m worried I paid the tuition for nothing.

Had to use medical services in the foreign country where l live. Medical care is socialized and I am sure there are drawbacks, but it cost me the equivalent of $7.00 to see a surgeon for a consultation, and $16.00 for an ultrasound guided needle biopsy! The care was of excellent quality too. I kind of dread returning to the American system.

Just because it worked out for me doesn’t mean I don’t still believe the push to force your kid into a bumper sticker school for the perceived prestige it brings is good for anyone.
What is it about our neighborhood Facebook page that invites near-constant controversy!!! I really hoped, now that school is out for the summer, our community could take a break from the snarky, preachy, issue-baiting posts and comments that continue to divide us all but I see now that was a false hope. If we can’t find a way, in our own community, to debate our issues in a civil manner then I don’t know how we ever will resolve the issues we are facing… Sigh.
