Why is that even controversial?
Then there’s that really weird feeling when something finally shows up on a test providing evidence that something is off and it’s not all in one’s mind - an honest yeah (!), but instantly followed by a Google search that starts off saying this sort of test result is really rare… followed by noting the test has been done three times in the last two years with similar results, so not likely a lab error. WTH? How is a brain supposed to react to that?
One definitely wishes there were less time spent in the middle of it all - like a TV series that drags on forever when the question should just be answered!
If I’m the first appointment of the day, how can you be running 45 minutes behind already?

I know you’re annoyed I called the New York office to ask them to help you with your visa, but I would do it again! In fact, I WILL be calling again if this isn’t resolved soon.

NYC and NY state - why do you make it so bloody difficult to get vital records? She is my mother! I shouldn’t have to give blood for that and then wait 80-90 days.
$176 for a consultation - you looked in her mouth, checked her x-rays, and spent time explaining how you could do expensive painful oral surgery which might not solve the problem. She is out of dental insurance - used it up getting 4 wisdom teeth out. This $ came out of her pocket - which in my opinion you just picked. Her wonderful regular dentist spent just as much time with her exploring treatment options and didn’t charge her a dime.
It is not my life, but please make a plan B NOW you are happy with. Sometimes life doesn’t always work out…
And the stupid system is still down! Sometimes, paper and some postage are handy! 
I’m really proud of you but just wish you weren’t halfway around the world this year! I hope everything goes your way next week and you pass your tests and get placed where you want to be! Then I’ll just have different things to worry about.
