Fall Break went by WAY WAY too fast 
Ugh, I’m so grumpy.
Whoooooo…just discovered a whole new benefit to cutting cable tv and listening predominantly to satellite radio. No political ads. Notta, none, zip.
All that and an extra $125 in my pocket at the end of the month. I’d say it’s a win/win situation.
Today, CC taught me about something I’m pretty sure I could have lived happily the rest of my life in ignorance of: dance belts. You may not want to look this one up
Just because you don’t remember saying it doesn’t mean I should forgive you. To the contrary: It means you really never listen to what I say, and apparently you don’t even listen to what you say. How scary is that?
That medical office used to run really well until the big corporation took it over.
I don’t know how this is working out for you… but I’m stressed and not pleased. And I’m too old for stress, and life’s too short for this kind of displeasure. The ball’s in your court.

Yippee! First time sis readily agreed to pick us up at airport without a lot of conditions and hemming and hedging! Guess she finally remembers who always drops everything to take her, since we drove her so recently!
86 today. I know everyone else is happy to have that temperature in Maine in October, but I don’t like it that hot any time of year.
She got the job!! Significant salary increase, lots of opportunity for career growth, great location and some pretty accomplished colleagues… it’s all she could have hoped for!
To make things even better, DS got a nice unexpected raise last week. Can’t believe this sudden run of luck!

How much do I need to live on each month in retirement? Heck, I don’t know. I am trying to be conservative in my estimates, but I would really like to have more to spend than I think I need. But then, I worry that I won’t have enough to last what could be a long life of retirement. Finally got the courage to ask for a projection with a higher monthly spend, but that took courage on my frugal-lady part. Couldn’t you just look at my money & tell me how much I “could” spend without running out? Blah, it doesn’t work that way. Stress, stress, stress. It is really scary to go from saving mode to thinking about living off savings. If my hair wasn’t already gray, it would be now.
