<p>Seriously - flesh-colored stockings are out of style? I usually wear pants, but just bought a dress for my D’s wedding shower and just assumed I would grab a pair of stockings to wear with it. My dress is brown and black print, so what type of hosiery should I wear? The dress hits right below the knee and I am planning to wear a nice pair of black flats with it. It will be fall in New England, so bare legs would not work. Any help would be greatly appreciated as I have no sense of style. Any other trends I need to know before I completely embarass myself? Thanks!</p>

<p>they cost $$, but are really worth every penny, because they are comfortable, last ten times longer than a $10 pair of pantyhose and look luxurious.</p>
<p>My 82 year-old mother-in-law has good legs that are tanned and can wear modest shorts and, if she wanted to, skirts right above the knee. I am very distressed at the concept of hosiery making a comeback. Kind of like corsets making a comeback.</p>

<p>My MIL used to send me Wolford tights from Europe - they were beautiful. But I can’t see spending $44 for a pair of opaque pantyhose!</p>
<p>They say, Duchess Kate is bringing stockings back into fashion. I’m so glad I’m impervious!</p>
<p>Glad you got to meet the Obamas. My brother & one if his clients did as well. I wasn’t willing to fork over the donation expected to attend the party to meet him, but the party was sold out anyway.</p>
