SC Announces Financial Aid INCREASE

An article on the SC website today stated that “USC expects to increase the undergraduate financial aid budget for fall 2009 by 8% and will not cut enrollments.”

The article also stated graduate applications were up 10% and international applications were up 10%. International applications were received from nearly 100 countries.

Links are a good thing.

This would probably help yield a little, I would assume. Seems like everyone else it cutting down on FA.

well if they are admitting more international and grad students… that means more money from them since many of them pay full tuition (esp international).

Well I’m glad for the increase because I really need some due to bad economy  and horrible exchange rates. My parents work in Korea… the exchange used to be 900 won to a dollar (korean wons used to be worth more than a dollar). Now it’s 1400 won to a dollar so it lowered my parent’s income (on paper) to about 50%.
