Mine was $7.44. My time to figure out how to activate the card is worth more than that, ha.
Mine was $16. I managed to get it into my Apple wallet. Haven’t used it yet though
Edit - the email gives you ways to get to it without clicking the link. And nowhere does it ask you for more personal info. You use the code in the email if I remember correctly
I got the email to with a “stay tuned” message like Marilyn
I got a e-debit card for $7.44 that doesn’t work!
I did!
I only received an Equifax notice by text - no emails. Didn’t trust it. Oh well (if legit).
Thanks everyone for posting this–the email had gone to my Promotions tab which I don’t keep close attention on. Now I know to look for whatever “huge” amount they want to send me, lol.
It’s raining scams…
This was a new one for me on my gmail; recently used for an online order. I have never been involved with Poshmark!

I will comment, though, that many of the deliveries during the pandemic that people thought were brushing scams were orders that the people placed during the pandemic, but had been delayed for a long time, and were from some off-brand replacement. So many people did order seeds during March for some pandemic planting project in spring 2020, and they received the seeds in August 2020, but they never paid attention to the company name, or the seeds were a different brand name, or something like that.
People often don’t even think of looking through their past orders on Amazon, and will, instead, freak out over the order that they forgot that they made. Nobody who has ever worked in retail, or had had friends or family who worked in retail, should be surprised at this.
Many people have frozen their credit at the three major agencies to make it more difficult for scammers to open credit cards in their name. Another vulnerability are bank checking accounts and it turns out there’s an agency many banks use when verifying checking accounts named ChexSystems.
A recent blog post explains how to freeze your account there. See ChexSystems Security Freeze: Login, Report, and Score
Do you recommend this??
We froze all our credit. You can always unfreeze it temporarily if needed.
I did the freeze described in the article
Yes, I froze my main 3 credit bureaus and 2 places that clear checks for both me and my H.
This was new to us. It came to H’s phone, and thankfully he just screenshotted it to me to deal with - and thus replied it was a scam. Xfinity/Comcast IS in his name, BUT all of the contact phone numbers/emails are mine. And also, we don’t have any discounts right now - a big pet peeve of mine. I recently called them to ask for something, and they’d only do it if I added cell service. No thanks.
I got the FasTrak one too!
I think I’m so clever. SMH. I’m so mad at myself. I almost got sucked into this one. And then I realized that card has not expired. I had failed to look the email address of the sender. Beware.
