Scared of losing my scholarship from OSU

I received a full scholarship to OSU. I’m finishing up my senior year of high school, and my grades are the worst they’ve ever been. First semester, I had all A’s and one C, but this semester I’m expecting to finish with one C, one low B, and a mixture of A-'s and A’s for my other four classes. How likely is it that I’ll lose my scholarship because of this? I’m terrified because I know there’s nothing I can do to bring my grades up significantly at this point in the semester.

Moving from five A grades to four A grades and one B is not a big deal. If the C had fallen to an F, and the B were a D then there might be a problem. But since you are worried about this, talk with your guidance counselor, and get that person’s advice on how to handle it if OSU does ask what has happenned.

Wishing you all the best!

What are your conditional terms of admission? Usually they tell you, i.e. you must have a 3.0, or nothing below a C, etc I would check and see, and make sure you are on track.

If your gpa falls, it’s possible the scholarship could be lost or reduced. You have to look up what the requirements for the scholarship are. I don’t think it is likely for the gpa to fall too far with a B and C, but you do the math.
