Scav Hunt

Scav Hunt takes place every year over Mother’s Day weekend, starting on Wednesday midnight and ending in the afternoon (known ans Judgment) on Mother’s Day proper.
Basically, Scav is ridiculous. In addition to being a board member for PSAC, I am Scav captain for Snell-Hitchcock, and am totally willing to go in to more detail about Scav if you’re interested… but, for now, to answer your basic questions.
The Scav list ranges from about 10-14 pages, translating to 250-300 items yearly. Some teams go all out; some teams do as much as they can. Last year, of the 14 pages of items, Snitchcock managed to complete or at least attempt an overwhelming majority, averaging about 2 or 3 items uncompleted per page.
Max Palevsky (grrrr) and Snell-Hitchcock have a traditional rivalry, and usually battle for first and second. Snitchcock has won for the past two years, and is definitely looking to three-peat. MacPierce (made of Maclean and Pierce) and Burton-Judson are usually in the 3rd and 4th place spots, followed by Broover (Hoover House of Max P and Breckenridge), the Shoreland (which will become the South Campus), Broadview, and the Federation of Independent Scavenger hunt Teams (aka the FIST).
