<p>Just found this thread (haven’t been on CC in AGES as it kind of makes me depressed sometimes, hahah!)… submitted my app right before I went trick-or-treating and it scared me to death, I swear. I had to promise myself I wouldn’t look at my printed copy so I wouldn’t find mistakes in my app…</p>

<p>actually, no lol. i am reusing my stanford essays. i believe they are my best, so why not? as for umich, those essay topics are pretty dry, so i tried to be creative =). in the end, i found the essays to be fun ahaha. what essay topic are you doing right now, fuzzylogic, for umich?</p>
<p>i’m trying to twist my essay to answer the one about an issue of national, or international importance…not going too well though.</p>
<p>For me, as I’m in the midst of prep for my exams, I haven’t been able to do much for my other apps. I’ll go on an essay cum app blitz in late nov, early dec. I’ll probably reuse the activity/interest essay, but I’ll write afresh.rewrite the long essays for each college I’ll be applying to.</p>

<p>also i have a question the stanford essay. My 4 essays pretty much tied together a lot of details about my life. They each brought about an aspect and compared it others. So, in a way they are all related to each other. Was this a good approach you think?</p>
<p>Who wouldn’t reuse those essays. I think the prompts that Stanford gives really give a good oppurtunity to express ourselves.</p>

<p>Yeah, I’m totally tweaking mine. They took forever so I’m not gonna write entirely new ones, hahah.</p>
<p>Man, the reason I’m not using any of my Stanford essays (maybe my long one) is because they’re really specific and highlight a different aspect of my life. If I only get one or two essays on the app, I want to write essays that encompass more of who I am, ya know? More general kind of essays, not so specific and quirky…</p>
<p><em>sigh</em> i thought i would be so stressfree after i got my stanford app in. but no that is not the case. :(</p>
<p>i am definetly stress free since i know im going to get rejected haha. Just hope for the worst and maybe you’ll get lucky. Nothing to get your hopes up for.</p>
