booooo. i haven’t been here since sunday. i’ve been having CC withdrawal!

Check this out: <a href=“Urban Dictionary: College Confidential”>Urban Dictionary: College Confidential;

these new features are cool but the quote buttons are kind of distracting and a bit ugly.

sorry for the double post… at least it brings my post count up ;)

edwinksl, according to the stats on the front page, there are 15000 active CC members. maybe the CC pool isn’t as competitive as we thought.

35 hours…

umm how come Princeton ripped off this thread from us… and now they’re ahead of us by 14 pages???

… I think it’s prob cause the Pton ED kids don’t have lives ;)

there are about twice as many princeton ED applicants than there are Stanford SCEA applicants. our post: poster ratio is probably higher. so in reality, we don’t have lives ;)

I just can’t believe I have almost 400 posts… XD shows how much time I’ve spent on here…

But you sure had fun!

It’s strange but the frequency of posts seems to be reducing with proximity to the decision day…

agreed. i am just trying to reduce my overall anxiety by staying away except in the mornings and nights, and it’s working :).

Well with the CC servers oscillating between active and overloaded, it’s a wonder any posts have been made!

Yeah…I agree w/ k_twin. I WOULD have been on if a certain SERVER hadn’t kept crashing. >8(

it looks like the server has stabilized, so, hopefully, tomorrow it won’t crash. if it does, we can post our decisions on wiki or have another AIM chat ^^

ahhhhhi just got an email with directions to get the decision tomorrow at 3!!! ahhhh! this makes it so real… less than 30 hours remain.

Dear Tracy,

This year we are offering you the opportunity to receive your admission decision
online, regardless of whether you applied online or by paper application. We
plan to post all decisions on Friday, December 15, after 3:00 p.m. Pacific Time
at https://app.applyyourself.com/?id=su-ugrad. Please note that you will
receive an official decision letter by mail whether or not you choose to view
your decision online.

If you wish to use this online option, you will need both a PIN and a password
to view your decision.

IF YOU APPLIED ONLINE, you will simply use the PIN and password you created when
you completed your online Stanford application forms. At the bottom of this
email you will find the PIN you used when preparing and submitting your online
application forms. If you have lost or forgotten your password, please click on
the “search” button on the homepage of our online application at
https://app.applyyourself.com/?id=su-ugrad.

IF YOU MAILED A PAPER APPLICATION, you will use the PIN found on the bottom of
this email as well as the password being sent in a separate email to log into
the following web page: https://app.applyyourself.com/?id=su-ugrad. NOTE:
Please disregard any references to the status of your application forms on this
web page; the status of all application materials is maintained in a different
system.

If you have any questions about Stanford’s online notification process or the
required PIN and password for viewing your admission decision, please feel
welcome to contact our office at 650-723-2091.

Funny, I just posted that in the countdown thread…
It really puts things in perspective…

haha yeah…its so soon. im scared. upenn and cornell find out tonight too, yikes. i really didn’t expect an email until tomorow either! i mean it doesnt really change anything/say anything but it is still a little nerve racking and makes the whole thing feel so real.

As the parent of an Stanford SCEA student who is also counting down the hours I want to wish all of you good luck.

Thank you, perhaps in part a consolation in the long wait for me at least, has been knowing that thousands throughout the world are undergoing the same process…

ok wow yea, this is gettin close…i feel great though…energized!! hopefully this new energy means smtg…
