Thank you all for the wonderful advice! :)

I actually want to graduate being able to speak Japanese and Spanish fluently. And yeah, I just checked and they offer no GE credit… Will this be a problem for me (in terms of fulfilling GE requirements and graduating in four years)? As for the difficulty, I’m going to study hard! I’ve read your other posts about how hard it would be without prior knowledge/familiarity, but I’m willing to put the effort into learning the language (I’d have to admit though, my parents would prefer it that I learn Chinese instead because - in their opinion - it would be more useful in the future).

To be honest, I didn’t bother to attempt the Chemistry placement exam because I don’t really remember any Chemistry. It was just a class I took in High School and passed with A/A-. As I’ve read in other posts, is Chemistry 1P covering only the first few sections that Chemistry 1A covers quickly, or not at all?

@Daydreamer81; Unfortunately, Japanese 1 is only offered the fall quarter of each year. ):

I’m really in a pickle and my orientation is tomorrow! Maybe I’ll enroll in all Japanese, Chemistry 1P, Core, and a math course and go on from there (if there aren’t any time conflicts)

Thanks again~!
