<p>As for your idea that everyone who lives in Avery is an Avery member–I have no idea what your rules are. I personally distinguish between people who live in Avery as an off-campus housing choice and people who live in Avery to join the “house”. As I recall, Victor wasn’t too enthusiastic about living in Avery.</p>
<p>In any case, Victor was identified as “an Averite”. Even if you want to argue that Victor was an Averite on the sole basis of living in Avery for one out of his four years at Tech, even though he was minimally involved with the house itself, there are many things Victor is and was before an Averite. He was a Pageboy before he was an Averite. He was a EE before he was a Pageboy. And he was a really awesome individual before he was anything else.</p>
<p>That being said, I didn’t really think it was a big deal. No need for you to be offended.</p>
