<p>OP if you really want to know, call admissions and ask them how they compute/view GPA. While SC does have uniform grading scale, USC is use to dealing with applicants from all over that go to schools with different methodology. They may recalculate or they may take what guidance sends them. Frankly you Guidance counselor should be able to help with this. Your transcript should show your GPA and should also have the way it is calculated so colleges can tell what it mean. We had to call our GC to find out how to report Ds score as non-weighted for one school and she knew what they wanted.</p>
<p>Also, USC doesn’t ask for midyear grades, but if your fall semester grades are really strong and increase your GPA you may be able to update your application and strengthen your case.</p>
