Scholarship chances for 1560/1600 SAT but 97 W?

<p>I think it is true because SC wants geographic diversity, so if you live in a state from which they don’t typically get a lot of students, I think your chances of getting a scholarship are higher, and you can probably be more towards the bottom of the curve and still get it.</p>

<p>Just my opinion though, AFAIK SC doesn’t publish any data to confirm this one way or the other.</p>
