Going to a university in the US, is very, very expensive.
Someone needs to pay the bill. That means: parents, relatives, your government, or private scholarships.
Scholarships are hard to come by unless you possess amazing international abilities in athletics, academics, or world events.
The US universities lost a LOT of money with Covid. They are holding on to their small funding accounts such that only a few schools can afford to sponsor international students for 4 years. The rest are need-aware which means that your ability to pay their full costs will affect whether or not you are accepted.
(Need-blind schools just don’t look at your income when they are deciding whether or not to accept you. It does NOT mean that they blindly cover all of your need.)
You are required to have health insurance which is not covered by scholarships-so figure that $3k-$5K of your funds will have to pay that fee yearly. You need to pay for travel expenses and school necessities, also not covered by the school.
If you get in somewhere, know that they may not cover what you “need” but only what they can spare.
If you major in CS, you need to be aware that you will be returning to your home country after graduating from a US school. The schools will educate you, but immigration is not included in that education.
Please be aware that many US students cannot afford to begin at a university, so they attend a US community college and then transfer to whatever university that has accepted them. A CC in the US is not a derogatory choice. It’s there for affordability and preparation.
Please improve your grammar skills and write cohesively if you hope to get in somewhere in the US.
