Dou, if you are being considered for a scholarship, you will receive a letter which indicates which one you are up for (Trustee or Pres), and when the interviews take place. It will be a two day stay at USC in February or March. The first day consists of various activities and info sessions, and the interview is conducted on the second day. You are hosted by a present student and stay in the dorm. All meals are included.

I can’t remember exact figures, but I think around two thirds of Trustee invitees were offered the scholarships so chances are pretty good. Sometimes Trustee invitees are given the Presidential, Pres invitees the Deans, and sometimes Pres people end up with a Trustee though this is rarer. The interviews generally lasted between 20 mins and 40 mins, with 2 to 4 interviewers.
The Deans does not require interviews and recipients of those are informed after the others.
