These days with the huge cuts at UCLA sit down and figure out what it would cost you to attend five years vs. four at SC. Perhaps the sum might be closer to what your family can afford. It is not always simple to obtain classes at UCLA.</p>
<p>Also, did you apply for financial aid? Wait until your financial aid package comes to see if the aid will make a difference in addition to the Dean’s Scholarship.</p>
<p>Incidentally, congratulations on the Dean’s. Only slightly more than 100 are given each year.</p>
