Sciences Po - Columbia Dual BA

Test Scores: while the scores you have are pretty good, the number of AP’s and SAT II’s taken seem to be on the low side.

Awards: It’s a positive sign that you have a nationally acknowledged award. But, similar to the test scores, may be on the low side in terms of quantity.

Extracurricular: Shows variety and breadth of experience.

Volunteer/Internship: Again, shows variety and breadth of experience.

Overall, I think you’re a strong candidate in terms of Extracurriculars and Volunteer/Internship experiences. I also wouldn’t worry too much about the quantity of awards as quality seems to be present. You may want to take a few more SAT II’s and maybe retake the ACT for a slightly higher score. But from my experience, I am currently a student in the Dual BA program, the most important aspect in the application is the essay. Make sure you clearly outline why you would be a great fit to the program apart from being a good student. In your essays, try to show them that you have something to offer to the program that no one else can.

Good luck!
