Different idea with less risk…monitor how full they are by checking in regularly then sign up near the top of the wait list. They typicall do take some girls from the waitlist. And even if you get in before you find out in June you could possibly get a better sense of how long the waitlist is at the time you are asked to commit. Everyone I know who has lived in SRD loves it.

@WinnieSan I just heard something from a friend that may be of interest to you if you are considering trying the approach of getting on the SRD waitlist. At another popular dorm (Hardin House) if you are on the waitlist and get called to sign a contract but are not ready to commit you don’t have to AND you don’t lose your place on the waitlist. I’m not sure if Scottish Rite has the same policy but may be worth calling and asking them. If they offer the same you could bide your time at the top of the waitlist and hopefully score a room when you are sure of the transfer in June. Good luck!
