In case anyone’s making the same mistake: We finally just found D’s acceptance in the dedicated SDSU portal (sunspot.sdsu.edu) after we’d been checking the non-updated calstate.liaisoncas.com with no luck. Good luck to all!

@Gumbymom I have no idea what the Forum Champion is, but you should definitely be one for the CSU’s too - you are very knowledgeable!! Thanks for starting the stats only thread

Everyone, please post your admission stats in the SDSU Freshman Class of 2024 Stats only Thread. Good luck to everyone as the notices are being released!

@nocal1:

Not to derail this thread but below is a description of a Forum Champion and the UC forum alone keeps me pretty busy.

Since I had one son, a current niece and possibly another niece that are/were Aztecs, I like to pay if forward and try to help as many posters through the process.

If any Senior member wants to volunteer their time as a Forum Champion especially for the Cal State forums, they only need to PM @CCadmin_Sorin your user name and the forum you would be interested in championing.

A Forum Champion is a Senior Member who has shown a keen interest in a given CC forum. He/she ensures the forum he/she is championing is up-to-date, inviting, and engaging, that the TOS are respected and people are treated nicely and fairly. A Forum Champion is a respected member of our community, a go-to-person for people needing help/guidance/advice in a particular topic or info on a particular school.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Make sure the featured discussions are up-to-date
  • Close inactive or off topic threads
  • Merge threads
  • Generate new discussions by sharing content from authoritative sources pertaining to the forum theme (e.g. articles, research, studies, rankings, etc.)
  • Flag violations of our TOS to the mods
  • Move threads that do not belong to the forum they champion

Best of luck to all applicants and remember where you go for Undergrad will not define you, it is what you do with the opportunities you are given that will make you successful.

Daughter just got home to check her portal & was accepted.

CSU GPA 4.3
SAT: 1320
Major: Physics
In-state, SoCal

Hi All. It seems like a lot less acceptances today compared to last years thread on day 1. Kind of odd?

I haven’t heard anything back, but it seems most people haven’t. Has anyone been admitted to General Business yet?

has anyone heard back from Marine Bio??? And will there be more admission notices tmrw?

Haven’t heard back, looks like a lot of San Diego residents have.

We haven’t heard anything either: Nor Cal; D: (EI= 1070 w/ ACT), ITEP education program (mathematics).

Based on reading the forum. Acceptances are rolling and dependent on major. Shouldn’t let 1st day admits be any indication of your admitted status.

It would be so interesting to learn how they release them. There seems to be no rhyme or reason. All over the map majors and stats. My son is pretty borderline: 3.77 GPA, 28 ACT, 8 APS, in state LA area. No clue EL but his dream school, his dad went there too. Let’s just hope and pray.

My son was accepted this morning. 4.2/1350. Television, Film and New Media Production. In state, local.

@Boyandgirlmom wishing the best of luck. Still waiting to hear back too. I hate this waiting game…

Got admitted at school in the bathroom lol… undecided 4.0 GPA 1210 SAT

I got ADMITTED today

CSU GPA:3.78

Son was admitted!!

CSU GPA: 3.69 (I’m not sure but he thinks that what it was)
ACT: 28

So excited! Our daughter is a sophomore there and she loves it! He hasn’t decided yet but this is top two choices, Cal Poly being his #1. Still awaiting that decision…

Good luck to all!
